"Evanglism or extinction"- Keri Jones
This catchy phrase, stated by the apostle of mwb, has sparked a new passion in me. What an amazing gift we have been given. It's free and we have it to offer to other people. Though we can't save them, we can point them to Christ. If we were given a million bucks and were allowed to tell anyone else where to get some too, we would tell our friends, family, and all those important to us, so that they could enjoy that sweet chunk of change as well. But, Christ seems to be the best kept secret of our generation. We all seem happy to have our own personal savior and keep him to ourselves. I am not suggesting that everyone should run out and talk to complete strangers about God, but we should make sure that all those close to us know where we stand, and share Christ with them. I have been excitied about the recent salvations in Gilman and St. Charles/Elgin and look forward to more growth. We must continue to grow, because if we are not growing we are standing still and if we are standing still we are back sliding. Extinction is not an option, but I don't want my generation to be past by, for the next generation or the generation after that. I was born for such a time as this and so were you. Let us serve the purpose of God in our generation, and see the church brought in to fullness. Be blessed and be a blessing... oh yeah, and SHARE YOUR FAITH.

That's good David. We should definately be telling people about the goodness of Jesus and what He has done in our lives. We are walking testimonies. He shouldn't be our "best kept secret", He should be "the love of our life!" :o)
We are going to be the genaration that will be written about in history. Our generation will be remembered. Halleluja;)
Hey!
You're making some very good points. We shouldn't keep our father, best friend and savior, who loves us all, as a secret, but share him with all of our friends, family etc. so that they can live the life they're ment to live, with God!
